1st class have had a busy and fun filled October.
We were thrilled to have Ms. Morrissey teaching 1st class for three weeks in October.
We learned all about schools in the past in History. In Geography we learned about our journey to school. In Irish we learned about rang a hAon agus an scoil. We made some Maths shape monsters. We also created some Autumn trees using wool. We celebrated Maths week by doing a Maths hunt with 2nd class.
We also prepared for Halloween by learning about Oíche Shamhna and the History of Halloween. We discovered all about Halloween around the world. We wrote a report on spiders. We completed a Halloween hunt outside. We did some amazing Halloween Science experiments 🧪 We dressed up in fantastic costumes on the day of the Halloween holidays.
We have had a brilliant month and we are all very excited for Halloween.
