This week, Paul Clarke, who works for Boston Scientific, came into our class and taught us about STEAM and the Circular Economy.

This was the first of five sessions with us and we learned about the circular economy. The circular economy is when you use, reuse and recycle goods and products instead of just throwing them out. With that in mind, today we designed reusable pens! Some people designed their pens out of reusable materials, such as bamboo and steel. The circular economy is, raw materials, design and make, use, re-use or repurpose and then recycle. We had lots of fun this week with Paul and we’re really looking forward to the next four weeks!
