Junior Achievement - Week 2

28th May 2024

This week with Paul Clarke we learned about computer science software and app development. Our task this week was to design a mobile app to teach others about a topic of our choice. Paul gave us 5 simple instructions which he told us are used to create all apps.

  1. Keep is simple and easy to use.
  2. Use a simple design.
  3. Use a step-by-step to break down tasks for the user.
  4. Use familiar screens that are easy to navigate such as sign up or create an account.
  5. Make the design constant in how it looks and feels.

๐ŸŽ Small Little Apples ๐ŸŽ

My app is called Small Little Apples, also known as (SLA) .  The aim of the app is so kids can get help with homework, talk to their school friends and text their teacher to understand work.  It includes a search box to look up the questions they're stuck on instead of just getting the answer.  The app is safe and it has security to keep people from getting hacked.
