This week, 5th and 6th class delved into the exciting world of STEM as part of Science Week. Using LEGO Spike, they unleashed their creativity to build a variety of amazing models, including Ferris wheels, helicopters, mini golf holes, go-karts, and more.
But the fun didn’t stop there! The pupils also had the chance to bring their creations to life by writing their own code. They programmed their models to move, twist, turn, flash lights, record sounds, play music, and much more. It was an incredible opportunity to explore the basics of engineering and coding, and they’ve only just scratched the surface of what they can achieve!
We’re certain there are some future scientists and engineers in this talented group. A huge thank you to Ms. Condon for organising these wonderful activities for the school during Science Week! 🚀✨
